directBATCH - Archive batch conversion
Convert large file archives
directBATCH is a Window application for converting of several documents from an individual file archive. The program searchs through directories, establishes the file type and calls a conversion program for each found file. For each file type, an own conversion program can be defined.

A safe state handling enables a failsafe way to rollback at every point of the conversion. With directBATCH, a conversion can be paused and continued at anytime. After a program interruption the conversion be resumed from the previous state without any risk for data loss. directBATCH is the ideal tool in order to carry out large individual or repeating file conversion jobs.
Note: directBATCH is at his own no file format converter. It is a tool to control other file converters through large conversion jobs.You need another conversion program (converter) due to your application in order to solve an conversion job.
Safe conversion of a large amount of files
For converting of large data sets the abilities of programming languages as Visual Basic or Batch routines are not sufficient. Interruptions or overflows creates situations where the conversion is aborted with an unknown state. Several restrictions regarding fil- eller data size are debt to this. Oftens the conversion job becomes a bigger deal than expected before.
directBATCH offers from the start a technology that is designed for large files and data sets. And if any conversion causes abortion or other fatal errors, the process can be continued with at least no time loss and without data loss.
