Convert ASCII text to TIFF raster files

tiffTEXT is a Text to Tiff converter and creates TIFF G4 files out of any ASCII text file. A shell version for the Windows commandline as well as a DLL is available.

Create MS-DOS and Windows text files

tiffTEXT uses intelligent text conversion and formatting supporting different fonts and codepages. Textfiles created on Unix, Mac and Windows systems are identified automatically and converted using the right format settings. Supporting different codepages special characters are supported regardless of the type of text file (Unix, ASCII, Windows MS-DOS or Ansi). Further codepages are supported.

The tiffTEXT standard version is a easy to use commandline tool for the Windows shell. The tiffTEXT/Pro version provides a native DLL-interface usable with Delphi, Borland C++ Builder and Microsoft Visual C/C++. Have a look on our C/C++ programming example.

Multipaged TIFF documents

tiffTEXT creates multipaged TIFF files. Through large text files can be converted on a fast and simple way. Multipaged TIFF files fits famously into most Document Management or Archiving Systems. Best compression ratio is granted by using CCITT Group 4 compression.

Free formatting of text

The program can use all installed Windows fonts for the RIP-process. Font parameters as character size can be used as wanted. Line breaks can be as in text-file (original-mode) or can be recalculated.

Limitation of demo - version

The unlicenced demo version creates a stamp on every page and shows a pop-up window after conversion. The program contains no limitaiton of pages. All limitations disappear after purchasing a licence.
