Beta Licence Agreement

for our software packets marked as "BETA"

The following contract is valid only for as “beta version” characterized products. These products are usually not a component of a legal sales contract, but were delivered by EDSG to the licensee in the context of a temporary hiring.

The regulations of our standard license agreement apply. Additionally the agreement is extended by the following regulations:

Reduced guarantee

The licensee is conscious of as software characterized as “beta version” is software that is incorrect and possibly damages computer systems (software or hardware). The licensee agrees to provide for none of such damages direct or indirect requirements against the licenser (EDSG or other). Also no requirements on the fact that the software is able to solve any expected tasks are posed from the licensee.

The licenser (EDSG or other) insure to correct each software fault of the urgency and the technical conditions specified by the licensee accordingly as fast as possible.

The licensee must ensure that by the use of as “beta version” characterized software no systems are affected, which are safety-relevant for goods and persons. Also a use on productive own or third party computer systems should be avoided without further extensive examination on the part of the licensee.
