tiff2fax - Convert TIFF to Fax

Create FAX files (TIFF class F)

tiff2fax converts standard image files as TIF, BMP, GIF, PNG and PCX to the TIFF-fax format (TIFF class F). Both, desktop- and batch mode are supported.

The created fax files fulfill the TIFF-F standard and have the following properties:

New:Desktop version available now.
New:Supports EMail-To-Fax providers. Sends fax emails directly as mail.
Better:Supports more formats now: TIF, BMP, GIF, JPEG
  • Image size 1728 x 2258 pixel (X/Y)
  • Resolution 203 x 194 dpi (X/Y)
  • Compression CCITT Group 3 (TIFF-F) or Group 4
  • Bitorder LSB-MSB (Intel)
  • Multipaged TIFF

Desktop and batch version available

Tiff2Fax is available for Windows NT4.0, 2000, XP and 2003-Server. The languages english and german are supported.

Tiff2fax enables you to convert multiple files into the TIFF fax format. A desktop- as well as a commandline version is included. The 32bit batch version is controlled via the commandline and provides seamless integration into your applications. The desktop version provides easy handling and instant conversions. Just list up all your file using the included fast image browser and set the conversion properties. Save your fax into files or send them using your prefered EMail application.

  • Only for T-Online customers: Supports T-Online Fax directly. Send your fax with T-Online using EMail-To-Fax service.

Features of the batch-version:

  • Select TIFF compressions G3, G4, Pacbits or uncompressed
  • Select customized image size in pixel
  • Override for logical output resolution (cloak the used DPI inside TIFF - Tags)
  • Further options for dithering, streching, rotation and halftoning.

Supported image input formats

  • Monochrome TIFF: okomprimerad, Pacbits, G3, G4, Huffman. JPEG-TIFF not supported.
  • Coloured TIFF: 24 bit RGB, 8bit palett, 8bit gråskala. Komprimering LZW och okomprimerad
  • Windows/OS2 BMP
  • GIF
  • PCX
  • JPEG
