directLABEL NTWindows text printer driver directLABEL NT is a text printer driver for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000 and XP. The printer driver identifies and analyses all text in a print job and use a heuristic text formatting. Therefore, a correct text output is created that is apparently better than standard system tools. Extract data from accounting systems: The text printer driver is used from different software agencies for converting of data between different and incompatible accounting systems. Through writing a data matching process based upon well-formed ASCII - data is an easy task, any data conversion can be implemented very fast. For more complex solutions a more detailed MetaText - language provides extended possibilities. Arround the MetaText language several tools exists, e.g. Native C library and Visual Basic access. Full text search: For every printjob keywords can be created automatically out of the print data. Index of keywords can be used in Document Management Systems (DMS) for fast and effective search functions. A list of "Noise Words" reduces the size of the keyword index. Print to Ascii
